Imani Owens-Bailey, ND, LAc

NATUROPATHIC PHYSICIAN & ACUPUNCTURIST

Dr. Imani is passionate about connecting patients with her specialties of naturopathic medicine and acupuncture. She treats folks experiencing musculoskeletal pain, especially low back pain, anxiety/PTSD, insomnia, digestive issues and a whole lot more.  Using the ancient Eastern Medicine of acupuncture, she helps to reduce pain and inflammation, improve circulation, deal with chronic issues and restore function. In her role as naturopathic doctor, she helps patients figure out what vitamins, minerals, herbs, foods and lifestyle changes best support getting and staying well. Although Dr Imani works with patients of all ages, she has a special heart for working with children/teens and elders.

Dr. Imani believes: an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, healthy foods can help you heal, meditation and self-care are priceless, and you have to get out and move your body!

Dr Imani earned her ND from Sonoran University of Health Sciences (formerly Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine) and her Master of Science in Acupuncture from National University of Health Sciences. She graduated from Howard University with a BS in Biology and holds a graduate certificate in Global Health Promotion from GW School of Public Health. She is co-author of The Quarantine Kitchen and instructs First Aid, CPR and Basic Life Support.
