Jerrell Davis

SENIOR COMMUNITY ORGANIZER

In full effect, Jerrell "Rell Be Free" Davis is a versatile creative and community organizer from the South End of Seattle. Jerrell has been involved in a decade worth of efforts towards Abolition, Education, Restorative Justice, The Arts, and raising up youth voices in the South End and beyond. Jerrell currently lives in Rainier Beach and enjoys time with his close-knit family.

When not at work: I'm making or performing music; playing basketball or chess; at the water or somewhere in nature; spending time with my folx!

I identify as: A Black man rooted in South End/Central District community with a passion for creativity, lifting up my people and preparing the next generation.

I dedicate my work at the Tubman Center for Health & Freedom to…: My ancestors who passed away due to illnesses or diseases. I hope that by doing this work I honor their legacy and contribute to the increased holistic wellness of my Black community.
