Sue Taoka retired from her position as Executive Vice President at Craft3 in 2019. For 24 years Sue worked in the International District, among other roles, she served as the Executive Director of both the Seattle Chinatown International District Preservation and Development Authority and InterIm Community Development Association. She also served as the Deputy Chief of Staff to Mayor Norm Rice.

Sue was a founding member of the National Coalition of Asian Pacific American Community Development, served as a member of the boards of the Seattle Investment Fund, Yesler Community Collaborative (now the Crescent Collaborative) and the Friends of Little Saigon. She has also served on the Puget Sound Partnership Leadership Council and the Community Advisory Council of the Federal Reserve Board.

Sue has two grown children, Emiko and Isamu and a quirky husband, Dicky Mar. Hobbies include: gardening, tai chi, knitting, hiking/walking and traveling.
